SAS 70 Type II Certification

The Enterprise Hosting data center is SAS 70 Type II certified. SAS 70 (the statement on Auditing Standards No. 70) is an internationally recognized auditing standard developed by the American Insitute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) in 1992. It defines the standards an auditory must employ in order to assess the contracted internal controls of a service organization. Service organizations, such as hosted data centers, insurance claims processors and credit processing companies, provide outsourcing services that affect the operation of the contracting enterprise. A SAS 70 Type I is known as a "report on controls placed in operation," and a SAS 70 Type II is known as a "report on controls placed in operation" as well as "tests of operating effectiveness."

VESDA Very Early Smoke Detection Apparatus - the world's leading air sampling smoke detection system - provides the earliest possible warning of a potential fire event by detecting smoke particles at the incipient (first) stage of fire.
Multi-Stage Protection Pre-action dry pipe system requires alerts from two sensors, which activates pipe-fill and releases water at a final stage when the temperature exceeds thresholds.
Physical Security
Entrances All Atlanta colocation facility entrances require card key access. The data center floor and secured areas require card key and two-factor biometric authentication (finger print and iris scan)
Property Perimeter A security fence surrounds the perimeter of the property and is monitored by CCTV cameras. There is a single site entrance with a security gate and a guard house.
Security Guards Guards are on-site 24/7/365. They conduct active patrols both inside and outside the facility.
Closed Circuit Video 55 cameras cover the inside and the exterior of building, property perimeter, all entrances, alternate workspace, and the Atlanta data center floor. The roof of the building is monitored with CCTV cameras and motion detectors.
Facility Monitoring
Facility Engineers Facility engineers are on-site at the Atlanta colocation data center and are available by pager. Engineers are trained to control and maintain all critical facility components.
Power Management Critical power systems are controlled by an automated management system, which controls all switching.
Environmental Management Air temperature, humidity, fire detection, and water pressure systems are all managed by automated control systems for the Atlanta colocation center.
