Atlanta Data Center and Atlanta Colocation

Enterprise Hosting provides Colocation and Data Center solutions in Atlanta, GA

Colocation Power

Each Enterprise Hosting Colocation Data Center in Atlanta has N+1 or 2N (dual, fully redundant) Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems.  UPS Systems receive power from both the commercial power utility and the standby generators.  Generators are built on an N+1 design.  Each UPS system feeds redundant power distribution units (PDUs) separately feeding A and B circuits to each cabinet or colocation rack.  In the event of a commercial power failure, the standby generators are available to provide power to the colocation data center within one minute of a commercial power outage.  The one-minute gap is covered by the UPS battery system.  During an extended commercial power outage, the diesel generators provide power using the fuel stored on site.  Each colocation data center in Atlanta has a multiple-day fuel supply, with fuel delivery arrangements, if needed. Power configurations vary based on specific requirements from the IT infrastructure the customer is colocating in the data center.  Based on the space requirement, Enterprise Hosting will provide different options for power.

Rack Space

Rack Space is the designated lockable cabinet or rack space available for the placement of colocation equipment as designated for the customer.  Power includes all the elements of a power distribution and backup power generations system from the source of the power to the customer’s collocated equipment.
